Adopting Jewish Children

Many people contact Yeladim.org about adopting Jewish children. However, most of the children living in Jewish orphanages in the former Soviet Union and elsewhere are not available for adoption: they have at least one living parent who is unable to care for them but has not surrendered parental rights.
